From the Government of India to the Indig Office.

Simla, 28th June 1900. Our military telegram, 25th June. China Force. following troops will have sailed from Calcutta:-7th Bengal Infantry, By 5th July* (?) 24th Bengal Infantry, 1st Sikh Infantry, 22nd Bombay Infantry, 1st Bengal Cavalry, 12th Field Battery, Royal Artillery; Ammunition Column unit, 1 Native field hospital, 2 sections British field hospital, 8 signalling units, Engineer field park, General Commanding, and Staff Following troops-

1st Madras Infantry, 3rd Company Madras Sappers and Miners, sail 7th July, 11th July. Remainder Infantry will embark at Bombay as soon as ships can be fitted. We will report later date of departure.
